Every now and then I find myself in a meeting room with people who withhold their knowledge. Who rather than give it away, protects it and make sure that to get access to more, I need to get some kind of entry ticket.
They use knowledge as a kind of ruling power, and by doing that they create an excluding ambience in the room.
Why do we do this? Why are we afraid to share knowledge?
Knowledge is everybody's possession. We will do different things with it. Someone wants to know more in order to make more money, someone wants to satisfy their curiosity, someone wants to learn more. Those three alternatives are equally important and relevant.
This platform - thecommunity.se - is a fantastic proof that knowledge sharing is as important as it is fun, involving and inclusive. All we need. Apart from love.
